Performance-Based Navigation (PBN)
PBN specifies the performance requirements of the navigation system and the necessary functionality for the proposed operations in a certain airspace. This concept represents a shift from navigation based on specific radio aids to performance-based navigation.
Required Navigation Performance (RNP) and Area Navigation (RNAV) are defined according to the terms of accuracy, integrity, availability, continuity, and functionality required for the proposed operations in the context of a particular airspace, when supported by appropriate navigation infrastructure.
One of the necessary requirements for optimal validation is the checking of interferences. Grupairmed has a novel system that allows for the checking of all frequencies from all satellites.
